Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be among the top gymnasts. Biles was raised in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where her and her sister Adria received adoption by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone's love for gymnastics first began at the age of six, during a trip with her group of daycare children to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained with Aimee Borman's coaching until 2011. Biles, who won silver and gold medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault before her debut in 2011 with the elite section of gymnastics competition. Within two years she had dominated this discipline. Biles stood out by her consistent performance, her exuberant attitude and the level of effort she introduced throughout each competition--vault bars that were uneven as well as balance beams and ground exercise.
