Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow, born in Cologne to Christian parents, she had three siblings and brothers. When she was 17, her parents split up. When their business collapsed and she was left with difficulties with her finances. Her situation was further complicated because of her anorexic and bulimic. About her decision to resign in the role of singer for ARCH ENEMY, Gossow explained that there's the right time and the proper place for everything. When I started, it was in 1991. The joy of living on the road was fading. In lieu of denying it I quit, I decided to stop. The band was originally led by Johan Liiva, who was eventually substituted by German vocalist Angela Gossow.
