Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Initiated by the shadows she observed upon the ground and shadows on the ground, the artist spent months experimenting with a method to express objects in two dimensions onto canvas. It is more like the image has been transformed to its own reproduction, and the surface takes an interpretation by the artist. It is most effective when working with living things or items that are perishable like people or fruits. The transient nature of her painting style is evident and what remains of Alexa Meade's works is a photograph. The painting and the photographic methods are tightly interwoven and result in nothing but a two-dimensional flat space which is able to achieve trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension is only visible in certain areas like near the eyes, or near hair. Meade often integrates her painting into the environment around her that allows her to work within the world of their own. In this way, she blurs the lines between painting, photography, performance and installation.
