Alicia Silverstone is the daughter of Monty Silverstone (father) and Deidre R. Radford. Her birthplace was in Hillsborough on 4 October 1976. She has half-siblings from her father's previous marriage. She was raised in San Francisco, a city that was a part of the upper middle class. She started modeling when she was six, and then appeared in her first television commercial in the name of Domino's Pizza. Silverstone went to Crocker Middle and San Mateo High Schools. In 1992, Silverstone was given her very first credited part in The Wonder Years. Both critics and viewers praised her performance, which she was awarded. She was featured in the videos for music Cryin & Amazing by Aerosmith. In 1993, she made an appearance in television films such as Torch Song and Scattered Dreams.
